Human capital is a collection of traits: all the knowledge, talents, skills, abilities, experience, intelligence, training, judgment, and wisdom possessed individually and collectively by individuals in a population (Becker 1993) ((Becker, G. S. (1993): Human capital. A theoretical and empirical analysis, with special reference to education. 3. ed. Chicago Ill. u.a.: Univ. of Chicago Press.)). Furthermore this stock of knowledge, habits, social and personality attributes, including creativity, is embodied in the ability to perform labor to produce economic value.
