They are both offering recommendations applicable to planners to change planning practices in order to achieve that. Planning residential areas with low residential and mobility costs ([[wiki:moreco|MORECO]]), improving the accessibility by innovative means of public transportation ([[wiki:access|ACCESS]]) and at the same time improving the quality of life and access to general services is a common point of both projects. Both projects also emphasise the role of public institutions and planning practices in improving accessibility and lowering mobility costs of the population.
