====== Non-native trees ======

[[:wiki:non_native_trees#non-native_trees|Non-native trees]], also known as “non-indigenous”, “alien”, “introduced”, “allochthonous” or “exotic” trees, are tree species, breeds or hybrids in the Alpine Space region whose presence there is the result of human activity by way of intentional (e.g. [[:wiki:assisted_migration|assisted migration]]) or accidental introduction.

By contrast, native trees are tree species of na[[:wiki:1._how_to_add_my_project_in_the_wiki|t]]ural, post-glacial forest development in the Alpine Space region.
