Fuel wood

Within the AlpES project the provision dynamics of the ES fuel wood in the Alps were assessed by means of the following supply, demand and flow indicators:

• Supply:wood biomass increments (m³ ha^-1 y^-1 )
• Flow: wood removals (m³ ha^-1 y^-1 )
• Demand: fuel wood requirements (m³ y^-1 )
