<font 14px/inherit;;inherit;;inherit>Sustainable forest management is largely limited to the regrowth rate (m³/ha/year) in order to keep forest inventory stable. Hence, this indicator reflects the net annual increment of biomass in Alpine forests based on MODIS GPP satellite data. We applied the same procedure used for deriving the CO₂ sequestration indicator. Hence, for details on the calculation method of this indicator, please refer to the chapter CO₂ sequestration from forests and bogs (supply/flow indicator).</font>
