According to the EEA (2015) 1) a nation’s wealth is based on four core stocks of capital: manufactured/technical capital (e.g. machines and buildings), human capital (e.g. people, their skills and knowledge), social capital (e.g. trust, norms and institutions) and natural capital (See explanation of terms natural capital, manufactured = technical capital).
